Preschool Ministries
Chula Vista Presbyterian Preschool is a ministry of the Chula Vista Presbyterian Church. CVPP is a preschool where children are safe and loved and they learn about God’s love for them. CVPP is a faith community that embraces the entire family so that together we experience what it means to be a child of God.
Our preschool provides a Christian atmosphere with a loving, patient and knowledgeable staff that works alongside families to support parenting efforts. Our goal is to enable each child to grow and learn in a safe and stimulating environment at their own pace. We are faithful in making each child feel loved, valued and special. We incorporate age appropriate activities into our curriculum that reflect the love of Jesus.
The foundations for social relationships are developed in the preschool years; therefore we are committed to provide a play-based, developmentally appropriate program that guides each child through the process of learning self-regulation. In doing so we help them discover the roles they may play as an adult, as well as the rules for getting along in society, and making friends. By actively engaging in play with their peers, our children learn concepts about reading, writing, and math through creative, productive, hands-on play experiences.
Our preschool program is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and responds to the needs of each child as it relates to their unique development. All children enrolled in our program must be potty-trained.
